Deep Drinks is a podcast about religion, philosophy and human rights, hosted by David McDonald—a former Pentecostal youth pastor turned agnostic atheist. Through long-form conversations with scholars and guests with different perspectives, David explores what people believe, why they believe it, and how those beliefs shape our lives—all over a shared drink. Away from the microphone, David is a husband to Aimee, dad to Atlas, and a degree-qualified marketing professional with one too many side projects. His curiosity about people, ideas and what it means to live thoughtfully is what keeps the conversations flowing.
