Which one fits your team
Choose Posty if
- Several people need access and the bill should not grow with each seat.
- More than three clients or stakeholders need to approve posts.
- You want the inbox on the entry plan, not from $199 a seat.
Choose Sprout Social if
- Reporting is the job, and Premium Analytics matters more than price.
- You publish to X, WhatsApp or Google Business Profile.
- Three external approvers are enough and per-seat pricing suits your budget.
Every seat billed, or every workspace
Sprout Social charges each seat the plan’s rate: $79 a month on Essentials, $199 on Standard, $299 on Professional and $399 on Advanced, billed annually. Posty charges each workspace, one per brand or client: Growth is $32 a month billed annually for up to 10 people, and Accelerate is $40 with no limit on people.

Three external approvers, or every client
Sprout Social allows up to three external approvers, on Advanced and Enterprise; they approve from an email link once Link Sharing is on. In Posty, clients join their own workspace with client visibility and approve there. There is no separate approver limit: clients count towards the workspace’s people, 10 on Growth and unlimited on Accelerate.

Moving from Sprout Social to Posty
Posty does not import from Sprout Social, so the move is done by hand. Each brand or client you manage in Sprout becomes a Posty workspace.
- 1
Create a workspace for each brand or client
Add one workspace per brand or client and set each one’s timezone, so every post publishes at the local time you planned.
- 2
Connect the social accounts
Sign in to each network through its own consent screen. Nobody shares a password, and each account belongs to one workspace.
- 3
Invite the team, then the approvers
Invite your team with the roles they need and choose each workspace’s approval rule. Invite your external approvers as clients with client visibility.
- 4
Move the scheduled posts across
Recreate the posts still scheduled in Sprout Social, then remove them there so nothing publishes twice.
