Client approval on Premium, or from Growth
SocialPilot’s team approval starts on Standard, where a content scheduler’s posts wait for a manager. Client approval needs Premium; clients then approve signed in or from a link without signing in, and client seats are unlimited. Posty includes required approval and client approvals from Growth: clients join their own workspace with client visibility and count towards its people.

What each inbox covers
SocialPilot’s inbox starts on Standard and covers comments and DMs from Facebook and Instagram and comments from LinkedIn Pages. Posty’s covers comments and messages from Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram, Threads and YouTube on every paid plan, but not LinkedIn.
Networks and reports
SocialPilot publishes to X, Google Business Profile and Tumblr, which Posty does not, and adds white-label reports from Premium. Posty publishes to Discord and WordPress, which SocialPilot does not list. Both cover Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest and Bluesky.

Moving from SocialPilot to Posty
Posty does not import from SocialPilot, so the move is done by hand. Group your SocialPilot accounts by client; each group becomes a workspace.
- 1
Create a workspace for each client
Create one workspace per brand or client and set its timezone, so every post publishes at the local time you planned.
- 2
Connect the social accounts
Sign in to each network through its own consent screen. Nobody shares a password, and each account belongs to one workspace.
- 3
Invite the team and clients
Invite your team with the roles they need, choose the approval rule for each workspace, and invite clients with client visibility.
- 4
Move the queued posts across
Recreate the posts still queued in SocialPilot, then remove them there so nothing publishes twice.
Questions about Posty and SocialPilot
- Is Posty cheaper than SocialPilot?
- For one brand, usually: a team of three with approvals pays $32 a month on Posty Growth and $42.50 on SocialPilot Standard, billed annually. Across many brands SocialPilot usually costs less, since Standard covers 15 accounts and Premium 25 for one price.
- Which SocialPilot plan has client approvals?
- Premium, at $85 a month billed annually, and above. Standard has team approval, where a manager approves a content scheduler’s posts, but no client approval workflow.
- Do clients need a login to approve?
- On SocialPilot Premium, no: clients can approve from a link without signing in. On Posty, clients sign in to their own workspace with client visibility and approve there.
- Does Posty support X or Google Business Profile?
- No. Posty does not publish to X, Google Business Profile or Tumblr. SocialPilot supports all three.
- How do the free trials compare?
- SocialPilot has no free plan and offers a 14 day trial with no card required. Posty has a 7 day trial of Starter, Growth or Accelerate, once per team. It needs a card, and Stripe bills the plan you chose when the trial ends unless you cancel. The Free plan includes Link in Bio only, not scheduling.
