Reply where the conversation started, without leaving Posty
Type a reply in Posty and it goes out on the network as your account, whether it answers a DM, a comment or a Threads reply. Posty checks the reply against that network’s length limit before it sends, and new messages appear for everyone on the team without a refresh.
- Replies post as the connected account
- Length limits checked per network before sending
- New messages appear without refreshing

Archive what is done and move spam out of the way
Each conversation is open, archived or spam. Archive a thread once it is answered, move junk to spam, and show unread messages only when you want what is new. On the comments tab, filter to the comments that still need a reply.
- Open, archived and spam views
- Unread and read filters for messages
- Needs reply and replied filters for comments
A separate social media inbox for every client
Each workspace has its own inbox, built from the accounts connected to it. Switch workspace to switch client, and one client’s messages can never show up in another client’s list. An account connected to two workspaces keeps a separate copy of its messages in each.
- Switch workspace to switch inbox
- Clients and approvers never see the inbox
- Read state is shared, so the team sees what is handled

- What is a unified social media inbox?
- It gathers comments and direct messages from your social accounts into one list, so you answer them from one place instead of opening each app. In Posty that list belongs to a workspace, so every brand or client has an inbox of its own.
- Which networks does the inbox cover?
- Instagram (comments and DMs), Facebook (comments and Messenger), Threads (replies and mentions), YouTube (video comments) and Bluesky (replies and DMs). Discord, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and WordPress give tools like Posty no access to their comments or messages, so those stay in their own apps.
- Can I reply to social media comments in one place?
- Yes. Reply to comments and DMs from Posty and the reply is posted as your account. Each network’s own rules still apply, such as Messenger’s 24 hour window to reply, and Posty checks every reply against the network’s length limit before sending it.
- Who on my team can use the inbox?
- Admins and contributors. Approvers, viewers and anyone invited with client visibility never see the inbox, so clients reviewing posts cannot read their own customers’ messages through Posty.
- How far back does the inbox go?
- As far back as the plan’s history: 30 days on Starter, 90 days on Growth and a year on Accelerate.
- Which plans include the inbox?
- Every paid plan, from $29 a month per workspace. Inbox access is never priced per seat, and the Free plan covers Link in Bio only.
