Discord limitations
Posty posts to Discord channels through webhooks - great for announcements, with hard message and upload limits and no analytics by design.
Publishing limits
The limits Discord applies to posts published through its official API. Posty checks every one of these while you compose.
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Message length | 2,000 characters |
| Attachments | up to 10 per message |
| File size | 10.0 MB per file on most servers Boosted servers allow larger files; the total message upload is capped at 25 MB regardless. |
| Video attachmentsPosty | not sent Posty currently delivers text and images to Discord. |
Rows marked Posty are current Posty product choices rather than hard platform rules.
Analytics
None - Discord has no concept of post reach or impressions.
Inbox & messaging
Webhooks are outbound-only: Posty can post to a channel but can't read replies.
Good to know
- Posting uses an incoming webhook you create in your server - no bot is installed.
These limits apply to every tool
They come from Discord's official API, so no scheduler can exceed them. Posty validates against every limit on this page while you compose - if your post passes, Discord will accept it.
