What you can send to Discord
Posty posts to Discord through an incoming webhook you create in your server. It needs no bot, and it only ever posts to the channel you chose.

Connect Discord in a few minutes
Posty publishes through Discord’s official API, signed in with your own account. No passwords are stored and nothing posts without you scheduling it.

Create a webhook in Discord
Open the channel’s settings in your server, choose Integrations, then Webhooks, and create one. You need the Manage Webhooks permission.

Paste it into Posty
Add Discord as a channel in your workspace and paste the webhook address. Name it after the channel so it is easy to pick.

Schedule the message
Write the message, add images and pick a time, or send it for approval first. Posty delivers it to the channel on time.
Questions about scheduling on Discord
- Can you schedule messages on Discord?
- Not natively. Discord has no send later option, a long-standing request from its community. Posty holds the message and delivers it through a webhook at the time you choose.
- Do I need a Discord scheduler bot?
- No. Posty uses an incoming webhook, which Discord provides for exactly this. Nothing joins your server and nothing can read its messages.
- Can I schedule a Discord announcement?
- Yes. Create the webhook in the announcement channel and Posty posts there. Discord may still ask you to publish the message before following servers see it.
- Can I schedule Discord DMs?
- No. Webhooks post to server channels only, so direct messages cannot be scheduled with Posty.
- Can I send videos to Discord?
- Not yet. Posty delivers text and images to Discord. To share a video, link to it in the message.
