- How do I schedule YouTube Shorts?
- Add a square or vertical video of up to 3 minutes, set the format to Short or leave it on Auto, and pick a time. Posty uploads it then, and YouTube files it under Shorts.
- When do subscribers get notified?
- YouTube notifies subscribers when a video becomes public. Posty uploads at your scheduled time, so a public video reaches subscribers then. Choose private or unlisted if you would rather publish it yourself later.
- Can I set a custom thumbnail when scheduling?
- Yes. Add a JPEG or PNG thumbnail in the composer and Posty sets it on the video. YouTube only allows custom thumbnails on verified channels, so verify yours in YouTube first.
- Should a scheduled video be private, unlisted or public?
- Posty defaults to private so nothing goes out by accident. Choose public for a normal release, or unlisted to share a link without it appearing on your channel.
