Questions about scheduling on Instagram
- Can you schedule Instagram Stories?
- Yes. Choose Story as the format and Posty publishes the photo or video straight to your Story at the scheduled time. Instagram’s API does not support stickers, polls or link stickers, so add those in the app when a Story needs them.
- Do I need an Instagram Business or Creator account?
- Yes. Instagram only lets third-party tools publish for professional accounts. Switching a personal account to Creator or Business is free, takes a minute in the Instagram app and keeps your followers and posts.
- Can I schedule Instagram carousels and a first comment?
- Yes. Add 2 to 10 photos or videos for a carousel, then write a first comment that Posty posts as your account the moment the post is live. It is the tidy home for a hashtag block.
- Does Posty post automatically or send a notification?
- Posty publishes automatically through Instagram’s official API. There is no reminder to tap and no phone to unlock at posting time: the post, carousel, Reel or Story simply goes live.
- Why use an Instagram scheduling app instead of Instagram?
