Questions about scheduling on TikTok
- Can you schedule TikTok posts from your phone?
- TikTok’s own scheduler lives in TikTok Studio on desktop. Posty runs in the browser on your laptop or your phone, so you can plan and approve TikTok posts anywhere, and Posty publishes them for you.
- How far in advance can I schedule TikTok posts?
- TikTok’s native scheduler goes up to 10 days ahead. Posty holds the post itself, so you can schedule TikToks weeks or months out and still change them until they publish.
- Can I schedule TikTok photo carousels?
- Yes. Add up to 35 photos and Posty publishes them as a photo carousel. TikTok’s API cannot choose a specific sound, but it can add a trending one automatically if you switch that on.
- Why are my TikTok privacy options limited?
- Posty shows the privacy options TikTok returns for your account on every post, and they depend on your account’s own settings. A private account, for example, cannot post publicly until you change that in TikTok.
- Is there a limit on scheduled TikTok posts?
- TikTok caps publishing at around 15 posts a day per account, shared across every tool that posts to it. Posty itself has no monthly post cap on any current plan.
- Can Posty reply to TikTok comments?
- No. TikTok gives third-party tools no access to comments or messages, so replies still happen in the TikTok app. Posty covers planning, approval, publishing and analytics.
